It actually says 4 -6 weeks from which you meet the spend. I don't think it will make any difference but it could speed up getting an investigation started by a few weeks.
I have no idea how citi could only be sending one 60K bonus and showing the 2nd 60K on the statement but not having it post.
IMO there is some glitch where Citi or Hilton is seeing the 2nd 60K as a repeat bonus and not a different card.
I check out 12/3 from my next Hilton stay so I can't apply for the 40k plus $50 Hilton credit until 9/4 or later or I would miss the $50 credit.

It is definitely a glitch, or Citi has outsourced the transfer of bonus to a 3rd party. Several years ago similar issues plagued the AA cards because Citi had outsourced the posting of points to a 3rd party which took it upon itself to follow the T&Cs to the letters. No idea whether it is the case now.
Though I am still inclined to think it is Citi's issue versus HHonors issue.
Still, the first 2 posters who reported the missing 60K, should be at their 4 weeks from their statements by now because their statements were on July 19 and July 26 respectively.
One poster got the marketing letter confused it with his previous card. Hence I think it is advisable for us who are affected to cancel the 1st 60K card in hope to prevent such stupidity from happening.
