Your view of what might sell late may differ from others! I fly 2-4 times a week, but usually book at 24 hours or less, and very rarely as far out as one week. Always book fully flex even at that stage, sometimes pay the walk up fare where a plan changes. RevMan probably rub their hands in glee

It only takes a few like me on each flight to increase the profitability and they organise accordingly. It is also why fully flex economy can cost more than business seats for later bookings to comply with strict travel policies.
