This can be done in a little more than a day (arrival back in IAD at 0650hr on 3rd Nov) and will net you 540TP for just over $1100 (I'm seeing it as £667GBP). You need to use the multi-city booking option on aa.com and schedule the flights individually though to avoid a ORD or DFW connection.

Thanks. I see these flights, but I really don't want to have an overnight back from LAX, as I will have spent the previous day flying CAI-FRA-EWR-DCA. Any other location that works for a day round-trip?
