Spend them on legitimate purchases. You still have a long time to meet the spending requirements, take it slow.

I was hit with FR for buying gift cards too, so were countless other people. You live and you learn. I learned not to buy GC to meet Amex spending requirements. I also learned to read more threads (like the FR thread, which many posts for a reason) before making moves.
