Just to reiterate this point. You buy effectively a single ticket made up of various components. The ticket has one set of rules which governs it, such as whether it can be cancelled or changed and if so for how much.
The fact that some of the components are booked in J fare buckets does not mean that they are fully flexible and refundable.
Reason for this is to maximise long haul sales by not allowing lack of SH feeder flights to stand in the way.
One of the few quirks with this is that it can lead to domestic flights appearing as Business UK flights and thus offering lounge access, even though the main long haul flight (in WTP for instance) does not.
