I've done this many times. Take the train from Rome to Naples. Faster than flying. The train schedules are spot on. If it says it will arrive at 2:17pm, it will. You can set up transportation (we use a private car) with your hotel and the driver will be waiting. Enjoy your trip. You picked a great place.
