I checked and AS has low award availability out of LAX on 11/2 on both of their flights. Flights would be:
Depart 8:25am DL110 ATL-LAX connecting to AS236 or AS252. They also have low mileage in first available.
No low availability for return on 11/9.

Note that Alaska also flies from SAN-SJD so that could be an option to connect ATL-SAN-SJD.

The AM website is truly horrid and you can't check award availability online so you'd have to call DL anyway about those options connecting in MEX.
