On my trip today from SNA-PDX on AS, I had a chance to have a quiet conversation in the
galley with Nancy, the FC FA.

She said they are all taking it very hard. She was scheduled to fly the next morning, but said her supervisor let her off until today (her first flight since..). Also mentioned that losing that one plane has created some havoc with scheduling.

She said they are offering counseling sessions for any employee that wants them, and she will definitely use that option.

Nancy was particularly sad because one of the AS group on the plane was her roommate when she was based in Ketichan, AK., who had taken her mother & father on the trip too.
