Reports are evidently coming in right and left about the stabilizers on the MD-80's. It would seem prudent at this point to ground them until they are all fixed. They were given too much time by FAA. Indian Airlines faced the same dilemma when their Airbus crashed in Bangalore but they pulled the planes out of service until they could ensure passenger safety.
