Booked a trip to London on 23rd December last month. Because I wanted it in flex, I took the cheapest option available, which at the time was YYT-YHZ, YHZ-YYZ and YYZ-LHR.

Today, I got a message saying the 2nd of those flights has changed times, it's now leaving Halifax half an hour later That leaves a bit of a tight connection at Toronto after a long wait in Halifax and with unpredictable winter weather that's a little bit of a worry.

I should probably not been so stingy in the first place over $40 and gone direct from St. John's to Toronto. And of course, I'm not going to pay $300 to change the ticket. Just wondering though, given the timings have become a little tight, is it worth ringing up AC to see if they can change the itinerary without me having to fork out $300 to change it or am I stuck?
