Going to Singapore in November; my travel agent has a limited selection of hotel properties (Royal; Royal@Queens; Peninsula Excelsior; Swissotel; Marina Mandarin; Ritz Carlton; Regent; Marriott, and River View). Excepting the River View, which may be, I think, too far away, the three in the title are the most expensive (so, I assume, are the better hotels). Any thoughts on which would be best?
Also, what are the facts about the Sia Hop-On Bus for sightseeing? Thanks!

Among the three you mentioned, I would go for the Ritz Carlton Marina Bay view, gives you a fantastic view of Singapore skyline and service in the Ritz is much better than the other 2.
The Marriott is right in the heart of the Orchard Road shopping belt, but other than the shopping, there isn't much around there, though Orchard MRT is just 5 minutes away which will get you to everywhere.
Swissotel is a massive 1,200 room hotel. I don't like large hotels of this size, so I don't really recommend this...
