It depends on the hotel occupancy rule. Some hotels allow 3 guests while some only allow 2. It also depends on whether all 6 guests are adults. All the hotels I stayed at in HK requires a copy of all passports from all the occupants.
If you don't want to register all guests, register 4, and then sneak the last 2 in (as long as you don't ask for extras stuff/breakfast).
Thanks guys, is there any chance they would actually check if we booked for 2 but we stayed as a 3 per room?
This is due to the tax that I need to pay, it would be around 400-500 dollars difference..
