ANAC's rule is a minimum of 2 x 70lb checked bags. Both AA and UA also allow 3 x 70lbs in biz, with exceptions (AA) for Brasilia, Salvador and Recife
United, according to their Web site, appears to still allow just two free checked bags in biz (called Business-First in their two-cabin aircraft, such as IAH-GIG or GRU) class, as they did when we flew between the U.S. and Brazil in Feb-March. Allowance is 3 in Global First (which you can buy on their 3-class flights from/to IAD and ORD).
If American now allows 3 bags in business, that's a welcome change from when we flew them last October. Oba! Hope that applies on both two and three-cabin aircraft. Good to know about AA's lower limits on flights to/from BSB, REC and SSA. Because 757s?
Delta still 3 bags in their business class. Now using 767s, vs. 757s, from BSB to ATL. We've flown them in biz only out of GRU to ATL and DTW.
