I am wondering as to how is it possible that one can get 25% COS bonus for discounted business class, if one flies LH D class as a codeshare on AC metal, in view of the following email response I got from Aeroplan. Perhaps Empress can answer this one.

I got this email response from Aeroplan regarding the question whether LH codeshared flights on AC metal, would be eligible for the Aeroplan promotion (15K Aeroplan miles, 8K status miles, for 13 segments from mid Sept, for 3 months):

As you may be aware, Star Alliance partner codeshare flights operated by Air Canada are credited in your account as the Air Canada flight with the corresponding Air Canada flight number. As such, these would be counted towards obtaining bonus miles for the promotion mentioned in your email.
