Choices are pretty much Necker Island (been to the island haven't stayed) and Little Dix Bay (I've had a couple of nice stays here). There are a number of comments in this forum on Little Dix, some good, some bad. Other possibility on VG would be Biras Creek (been to the several times haven't stayed). As with most Caribbean resorts, service, food, and accomodations may not meet everyone's standards for luxury. Other option would be to rent a self-catering villa of whatever size you require on Virgin Gorda. Numerous options are available.

VIJ airport reopened last year so flying there from SJU is usually easiest, imo. Other option would be to fly into EIS-Beef Island (more options) and ferry or boat over to Virgin Gorda. LDB operates a private launch transfer from Beef Island to LDB. Be prepared for changes in schedules and sometimes routes for the air carriers flying to EIS or VIJ.
