I just tried to do web check-in for a UA-issued award flight on AC metal. I'm *G; however, the AC website insists on charging me for checking a bag. Of course, *G get 3 bags free, so this is completely wrong.

Anyone else have problems with this?

I went ahead and completed the check-in and just picked 0 bags for now (I wanted to get a better seat assignment)...I'm hoping they don't have any problem adding a bag at the check-in counter tomorrow.
