I know the issue of loads, catering etc has been discussed to death but I still find it amazing (as someone who has never flown F) that two options for each person aren't catered for. At presumably GBP5k plus a ticket, I would have thought that everyone would be able to get whatever was on the menu, whenever they want it - with a cherry on top if need be! Asking for two of the same is a different story but is it really that much of an extra hassle/cost to have choice for everyone? I appreciate not everyone in first is on a revenue ticket and there will be last minute op-ups etc that will complicate things but still.

Maybe the introduction of dine on demand will improve things but you should still really get a choice in first if you can get it in Y!
