With some creative ticketing, my wife and I are flying J from SAN to YYZ via United and AA. We'll have a lovely dinner and rest at the Grand Hyatt at DFW. All this to avoid the 5 1/2 hrs in Rouge out of SAN. We'll pay just over the same price we would have paid for discounted "J" (what a joke) on Rouge.
(I'm SE and don't need AQM at this point).
We'll stay in DFW overnight rather than SAN.
People have a choice. I exercise it often.
