Hi all,

This was for my flight from LGW-LAS on BA on 17/8 flying in economy with 1 checked bag allowed. I checked in on the 16th not knowing what I was going to pack. Ended up having 2 bags I needed to check in.

I went online to pay for the bag to check in (as online is cheaper than at airport) and the BA website said £55 online. Tried to pay and the online system would not let me. No error message, just reverted me back to the intro screen!

I ended up going to LGW and had to pay the in-person airport bag charge of £65. Is this normal? Can you amend your bag check in status online, after you’ve checked in? Is this the same on other airlines?

Thought I’d check with the other FTers before I raise to BA and try to get my £10 back – for me it’s more princple!
