Yes, of course. The title of the thread says "RTW", so that, loosely speaking, is "where I want to go". I'd like to see some others' ideas about how best to make that happen today (i.e., after the devaluations).
In particular, if you can make a business class RTW with 7+ stopovers for under 240k, I'm all ears!
it is possible if one is not picky about destinations.
for a long time it was possible for fly USA to tokyo for 25000 miles in business class (i did that 3 times myself) but it has since been closed. if one focus on deals like those, i would say it is quite easy to do it under 240K.
there are teo good deals that are legal: 1) UA: south pacific to japan/north asia for 30K in J and austalia to south asia for 30K in J.
2) AA 30K from north asia to middle east in J.
there are other deals but those are using the hidden rules of award chart that should not be publizied.
