Actually, I considered that before posting, flipped a coin, and said, whatever, I'll say my piece. The primary thrust of what I am saying is "gosh, it does seem hard for people to follow the rules for the forum", which technically is commenting on non-moderators, not what moderators do. I wouldn't mind conforming edits if that helps, or thread being locked/deleted, or... whatever.

Good design is usually intuitive- people "know" what is right because of the cues a design gives them (that work with perception, which sometimes is relentlessly non-logical). If they are missing cues from design... well, let's not discuss that, I guess.
