No I have never shopped in Target and I took it on a cruise but never used it. The last place that I used it was in a Family Dollar store.
Maybe that store's systems are not very secure and Barclays knows this. Or maybe there has been a high volume of fraudulent transactions at that store. (quite possibly) while neither case should be cause for concern for you personally, I would at least take note and limit shopping there with any card
