When do Accor sales usually occur for BKK properties since I just started following them recently and I don't have any history on those types of properties. Sales? Bangkok hotels?

Here's a suggestion. Since you're going to be on vacation for a month, suggest you take an Executive Serviced Apartment. Marriott has a couple. One is on Soi Lang Suan, near all the shopping areas. Marriott quality (although not JWM) and a full kitchen. Just over $100/day ++.
