Yes, you're right, in fact I just looked up MCO<->LAS in First, which came out to about $449 each way - not bad. And really, reasonably priced F tickets would make people (and UA) happy, without all the ill will that missed upgrades brings.

I hate the UDU concept as it just sets peoples expectations so high. Better to go back to the E500 cert method, and let people who really value First pay something for it!
