But that's not what you did. You closed an account, and then submitted an application for a new account which was evaluated based on your new employment status. Why didn't you simply request a downgrade of your exising account from Gold to Green?
Because I didn't use my brain. I was juggling things in my life and never expected this to be an issue. Lesson learned.
