I have noticed that over 700 people have been killed in plane crashes on a 17th July in recent years (727 to be exact).

* On 17th July 1996, TWA Flight 800 exploded off Long Island killing 230 people.

* On 17th July 2007, TAM Airlines Flight 3054 crashed on landing in Sao Paulo, killing 199 people.

* On 17th July 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 is shot down over Hrabove, Ukraine, killing 298 people.

And 191: 5 plane crashes killing 465 people:

* X-15 Flight 3-65-97 also known as "X-15 Flight 191" (1967), experimental test plane, broke apart in flight, killing its test pilot.

* Prinair Flight 191 (1972), crashed at Mercedita Airport in Ponce, Puerto Rico, killing five people

* American Airlines Flight 191 (1979), crashed at Chicago O'Hare Airport, killing 273.

* Delta Air Lines Flight 191 (1985), crashed at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, killing 137

* Comair Flight 5191, also known as Flight 191 (2006), crashed at Blue Grass Airport, Lexington, Kentucky, killing 49

* JetBlue Airways Flight 191 (2012), a flight from New York John F. Kennedy airport to Las Vegas, Nev. diverted to Amarillo, Tex. after the captain had an alleged panic attack, was locked out of the flight deck by the First Officer, and was restrained by passengers.
