I don't believe that's accurate. No plans have been announced to add IFE to premerger existing US Airbus single-aisle planes, but if you have a link to a source, I'd love to read it.
I don't think they've announced plans yet for the PMUS fleet in regards to IFE, but AA is taking deliveries of new 737s with AVOD and PTVs throughout and so is DL. UA? Nothing.
