I hate to revive this stagnant thread but it's been actually useful so far. Have a few questions about our upcoming trip to Indonesia:
1) Is there VOA facility at JOG? Wife and I are both US Citizens, and JOG may be our point of entry to Indonesia (likely from SIN)
2) Any experience with dom-int'l connections to another airline from GA? May fly into CGK on GA and then connect to CX or MH onward. From what I can see, GA does interline with both. Would be on separate tickets as I'd use AA miles to book our onward CX/MH flight. Would a GA agent in DPS/LOP be willing to interline our bags and would they make it? Or would we be better off claiming at CGK and rechecking with the int'l carrier?
