I'll second Takashimaya and add Mitsukoshi (the latter has a better depachika - food basement - IMO). I don't drink whiskey - but most western brands of liquor seem to be readily available. There's lots of wine as well. I have suffered with terrible jet lag in Japan the first week (our first trip was close to 3 weeks - our second only a week). So we basically woke up very early in Tokyo - had breakfast (as lunch) - then lunch (as dinner). We picked up snacks at the depachikas in case we got hungry in the evening (stored them in our little refrigerator). Also used room service and on one occasion got take out at Tokyo Station (steps away from the Four Seasons). It's pretty much impossible to go hungry in Tokyo . Robyn
