Agreed the comparison is not apples to apples, but the point is for the flights I checked the only way to avoid the 29" seat pitch was to pay hundreds of dollars extra. Not going to happen.

Today's announcement about preferred seats is encouraging, but I haven't seen anything that would suggest it applies to Rouge.
