Can I "guest" my non-status wife through PREM boarding with me?

I'm travelling to SJU for a work conference and booked my ticket via my corporate travel dept. Mrs. WWGuy is travelling on the same itinerary via a ticket purchased through delta.com. She almost never accompanies me on work trips, thus my unfamiliarity with this question.

I've already received notification of upgrades for my ticket, but hers won't be eligible. I'm happy sitting in her coach seat and letting her take my seat up front. I'd just like her to be able to board with me rather than in zone 99. I've already linked our PNRs, but don't expect this to have any bearing on boarding.

Right now my plan is to discretely ask the GA prior to boarding. Any insight or past experience from FT community in advance would be much appreciated.
