In an uncharacteristic effort to save money, I travelled back from IST this week in ET. Expecting very little (sign of the times, I suppose), I was repeatedly pleasantly surprised.

I was seated (767) immediately behind CE so could compare directly - especially as the curtain was never drawn!

My first drink arrived several minutes before CE together with the same Dorman snack/nut packet. Receiving this, I wondered if that was it on the food front but, no, a full meal came along which was very good indeed. The wine, which flowed, was the same as I had in CE on the way out.

Admittedly the 767 is a lot more spacious than the A320 so the difference is less noticeable, but I could not fault the service. The crew all seemed very happy, too, on what is always a full flight.
