I remember way back when I was in a media studies class, someone asked something about how reality shows came into being and whoever thought networks would be able to sell them to the audiences.

The response is one I'll always remember: Nobody is selling these shows to viewers. TV shows are nothing but bait, designed to catch eyeballs, that can then be sold to advertisers. In simplest terms, reality shows are cheap, highly effective, eyeball bait.

ETA: I'm actually more entertained that Google Maps thinks that Turner Field is my "Work" location.
