Not clear whether the aircraft was struck by lightning or if it was a ground strike which caused a ground stop or somesuch at LHR. But, either way that's nothing to do with the carrier and there is no EC 261/2004 delay compensation due. I'm not sure that a 2-hour delay warrants duty of care, but it was certainly satisfied with a round of drinks.
