I was on B-18255 at least once when I was a child doing a TPE-HKG hop in 1998. One of the photos I took of the plane shows this registration number
B-18255 is otherwise as known as China Airlines 611, which broke up in midair, en route to HKG from TPE in 2002 due to incorrectly executed maintenance causing fatigue in the airframe. When I did realize it, I was spooked. It is disturbing that I was sitting on an incorrectly repaired airframe but I don't really think much of it anymore.
