Update to my post of February - I stayed for 5 nights in June and was very impressed! the room was large, well appointed and easy to work. I had a room with high ceilings (no view but no biggie), King bed and lots of space. Concierge booked my spa treatment (heavenly!) and asked about preferences, I mentioned I don't like lavender (which is the room toiletry) and when I returned after work, bathroom amenities changed out to backup brand. room service quick, Holborn dining room good food attentive service and reasonable pricing and their takeaway shop has amazing brownies! love the live music at the scarfes bar and handmade cocktails.

They have many events one night I came back and courtyard had a classical quartet which was lovely after a long day of meetings
Short walk to Covent Garden restaurants and Soho.
I can't wait to go back for work and neither can my staff who stayed here. They get sad when the hotel is full and need to stay elsewhere
