No status on Azul...

They just check bag to GRU and not through to US. It's like having two tickets. Kinda sucks because a single GRU to ORD allows online checkin/app checkin...Azul connect blocks that from working.

Decent plane and service...Azul has promise...took about 45 minutes from exact touchdown in GRU in term 4 to get to Term 3 including picking up my bag, taking shuttle, etc...

Star Alliance Lounge in term 3 is decent...much improved over old (I am told)
