Hi,

We have 4x tickets in F on BA flying open jaw LHR-HKG, and PEK-LHR next year.

We are booking HKG-PVG as a separate booking on CX in M a few days after landing at HK, and completing the final 'PVG-PEK' leg by train.

My question is, with the 3x bag allowance in F on BA, is there any change to the 1x bag allowance for the hop in M on CX?

I would presume not, but I'm sure I recall reading a post that says on presentation of recent boarding passes, a oneworld group carrier will give you a more generous bag allowance or something... otherwise we are stuck with 1x bag each at 23kg for the whole trip.
