I've had three on short-haul EU flights, once with no status and twice as a Bronze. On two occasions I used OLCI as soon as it opened and selected a seat just behind Club (I've also been bounced to a middle seat at the back of the plane using this tactic). I was travelling on my own.

The other occasion was when BA tested the new 787 on the Stockholm route. I was travelling with my son and deliberately reserved seats as close to the front of economy as possible (so a WT+ seat in real terms). There was a very active thread on here about the test flights and I always wondered whether my active participation in it made a difference. We also got a trip to the cockpit so unless I ever fly premium long-haul then I'm guessing that it will be the best flight that I ever get to experience.
