OTA practising throw-away ticketing without warning.. unusual?

Sorry about the thread title, but not sure what to call this...

I just bought a one-way ticket (long-haul) on an OTA (opodo, if it makes a difference). They were offering a price significantly lower (c $800) less than any other OTA, or that I could see on ITA matrix, for the flight.

I requested a single LHR-bbb, and was offered LHR-aaa-bbb. The confirmation after payment shows my two flights LHR-aaa/aaa-bbb, and nothing else.

However, when I plug the confirmation number into checkmytrip, I see that the ticket is actually LHR-aaa-bbb, and then 2 weeks later bbb-aaa-LHR.

I have now received two emails from them, one the nice flight confirmation showing the one way only with payment details, etc, and another one which is a effectively a text-only download from CMT showing the return as well.

Has anyone come across this before? Since I have no intention of flying the return, and would therefore expect that I will be breaking the CoC of the airline, am I in a sticky situation legally? Should I contact opodo and cancel the ticket?

Thoughts please....

Of course LE below is right - no-one is going to notice or care... I just thought that it was unusual of them to do this. Also, slightly PO'd with myself for not thinking of it, and have called opodo and cancelled the ticket to rebook elsewhere (still a return) for $80 less!
