Pilot lost his prosthetic arm upon landing

Lots of media today have picked up on the AAIB's last bulletin which shows a Flybe pilot lost his prosthetic arm upon landing in rough conditions, causing a bounce and a hard landing.

While the equal opportunities displayed by the airline is laudable, it is also a bit concerning. Do we know what BA's policies are in this respect and the number of pilots missing an arm (or two?).
