As Finnair has introduced "
ticket types", the actual fare class has lesser impact on earnings nowadays. For instance, a R fare can earn differently on AY+ as it can appear in different fare types (Basic/Value/Pro etc). I assume the fare types is what IB+ is using too, but that is just what I can gather from reading. No actual experience.

I'm fully expecting the 30%, as that's what I paid for. But I believe it goes by fare codes and generally follows what BA does. It would mean falling into discount economy (they are terribly vague with their own earning tables). I was just wondering if anyone had any recent credits to another program to see if maybe there was a possibility of lucking out. Either way, it's no impact to me personally as I'll most likely get what I expected or the less likely scenario of a nice treat.
