US Airport Experience vs. Asian Airport Experience

I recently flew LAX-TPE-KIX-TPE-LAX on Eva Air in Royal Laurel and Premium Laurel and noticed a completely different experience that is not related to being in J.

My positioning Flight:
SFO-LAX on UA E+
Checked my bag 1.25 hours prior to flight, was not loaded onto my flight, had to return to the airport 1 hour later since they were so grateful to send it on the next flight. I purposely had my international travel start 1 day after my positioning flight just in case this sort of issue happens. (Shows my faith with UA)
Flight departed on time, however arriving at LAX we waited a while to make space for arrival. Of course like always, jet bridge took 5-7 minutes after we parked.

LAX-TPE on BR J
Flight departed 10 minutes early
Flight arrived on time and jet bridge was connected within 2-3 minutes after we parked.

TPE-KIX on BR J
Flight departed 5 minutes early.
Flight arrived 7 minutes late due to ATC in TW. The jet bridge was connected within what felt like seconds after we parked.
Baggage Claim: my checked bag (*Gold) already waiting for me after transiting through immigrations which was around 10 minutes.

KIX-TPE on BR J
Flight was closed 10 minutes before, but depart 25 minutes after due to ATC in TW.
Flight arrived 5 minutes late. The jet bridge less than a few minutes.

TPE-LAX on BR J
Flight departed 4 minutes late.
Flight arrived 7 minutes late. The jet bridge took 10 minutes once we parked at the offsite terminal at LAX.
Baggage Claim, waiting 10 minutes after already transiting by bus to the main terminal and 15 minutes through immigrations. My bag was one of the 1st to come down the shoot (*Gold)

Back home
LAX-SFO on UA E+
Flight departed on time
Flight arrived 5 minutes early. The jet bridge took 5+ minutes to once we arrived.
Baggage Claim, what felt like one of the last bags, waited over 20 minutes after arrival

like the rest of you, I fly a lot, mainly domestic and mainly short hops. Its amazing how inefficient our airports our vs international. How it takes what seems forever to connect the jet bridge in the US and seconds in other countries. Baggage, there are way too many priority tags these days courtesy of credit card perks. Not to mention baggage handlers not following the priority procedure. When will we ever get up to speed? My absolute favorite is waiting in my seat once I have boarded to allow a huge list of standby passengers clear right up to departure or sometimes after. I thought the rule was the door closes "10 minutes before departure" Sure I would hate to be on the receiving end of that, short connection time, bumped flight, but its about being efficient. The 10 minute gate rule is the airlines, not mine. Why not start following it to allow for more on time departures. Or maybe we haven't all found our seat yet as the overheads are full since people are still using carryons that fit only sideways.
