Lucky for me, there was a couple on their way home from JNU on the shuttle so they held it past 2AM this time. I felt worse for them though. They were scheduled on the 9ish am SEA-BOS flight but missed it due to mechanical in JNU.
I was planning a trip from JNU-BOS and looked at taking the 6 am flight out, which must have been the one they were on. The conx time in SEA is 40 min. I decided it was too risky. Even if you land 10 minutes late, it can be difficult to make a 40 minute connection if you have change terminals. I'm surprised 40 min is still a legal AS-AS conx at SEA.
