On 29th Anniversary, Mourners Visit Site Where Japan Airlines Flight 123 Crashed
On a hillside known as Osutaka Ridge in Gunma Prefecture, relatives and friends of Flight 123's 520 victims gathered to offer prayers and remember loved ones. JAL's president placed flowers at the foot of a monument that had been erected to mark the tragedy.
