I am Oneworld Sapphire with a reserved seat in the upper deck 747 cabin. My wife is joining me (she is OW Ruby) with a confirmed business ticket, but no seat. She is on a different booking record.

Am I correct in assuming she cannot use my Sapphire benefit to obtain a seat next to me free of charge? So, I'm left either paying $160 or chancing it a week out when she can select?
