Had a stay this weekend and had a really nice room (mixed review overall - post to come). I wanted to post a pic or a least send a thumbs up via twitter. Two reasons: i) it really was a nice room, and ii) to experiment with Kimpton Karma. So here is my question: How does Kimpton know that it is me posting about my stay? My twitter handle surely doesn't have my name on it. My fb account also carries a fictitious name (not that it is used for anything other than being part of a fellow FTers IHG deals group). My FT handle has no name (albeit I believe Kimpton knows who I am). The hotel staff tried to help but it seems as if no one has asked that question. This led me to wonder how any other Kimpton-esque activity is noted and associated with the correct person re Kimpon Karma? (sounds like a logistical nightmare (?))
