When bmi started their short lived flights to Israel it used to state on their special meals page:
Kosher meals are not available on flights to/from Tel Aviv
Well, not really, but it does seem a
bmi thing to do!
As for the lobster, caviar, etc I believe it was because of frequent requests from
olybeast saying he'd eat no peasant food.
