Using a hotel to arrange transport in the NYC areas is a ripoff. Most properties charge 400-500% the rate charged by the service and it's hardly good customer service to push that.
This is not rocket science. Call either ELITE or DIAL7 and arrange a car or, like most people nowadays, use UBER.
There is way way way more being made of this than whether and what some customer service agent who the marketing cookies dub an "Ambassador" ought to do.
