Exactly; the tech issues alone make it a huge challenge. My standby request yesterday (1K on full Y) took 5-6 minutes to enter, and this was a PMCO agent handling it. Seriously, how can it take that long just to put someone on standby? God help me had the flight cancelled... there's no way they would have been able to switch me to the alternate flight (which was boarding in 30 minutes).
